The Alquezar TSL washing trommels are designed to efficiently wash materials that, due to their composition or size, pose serious difficulties to eliminate adhered impurities. The material to be washed enters the trommel, preserving its natural granulometry.
The wash process is carried out on the inside of the drum, thanks to the action of the blades fitted in the trummel, which stir the material together with the water, making it advance along the entire length of the drum. As the material is tossed, we achieve a friction action between all the granulometries that are found on the inside, thus making all the adhered impurities dissolve. In this washing process, the water circulates in the same direction as the material. The wash process ends with a shower placed at the outlet meshes and finally a rinse with clean water.
The TSL trommels have a double rinsing mesh, a first protection mesh and a second cutting mesh, to eliminate sand and silt. These can be made of metal, rubber or polyurethane.
The drum is driven by means of helical gear reducers, coupled to high-pressure pneumatic wheels, which prevent slipping and sliding even in rainy conditions.
